Daddy, watch for me. Look forward to me, Daddy!
To develop in my backyard of peace and religion,
to your prayers will information my each step,
and your ardour will defend my younger coronary heart.
I need to maintain your affirming, smooth arms
that give because of God for mercy and style,
that search inexperienced pastures of knowledge and relaxation.
Look forward to me, Father. Father, watch for me!
To shine my gentle of promise and pleasure,
to your ageless smile will consolation my coronary heart,
and your power can be my protect and my sword.
I need to stand by you, my protector,
that follows the winds swaying towards hope,
that hears the birdsong of justice and love.
Papa, watch for me. Look forward to me, Papa!
To weep in the course of the storms of grief and loss,
to your sacred arms will embrace my tears,
and your eyes will see my backyard of development,
that may give thanks for the time we now have spent,
that may honor the life we now have planted.
