My thoughts is shifting quickly
My ideas, a reverie
Of frantic worries entertained
Regardless of the calm I see.

In a quest to know
The ruminations haunting me
Obsessions that command.

To their message loud and clear
Abandon logic to the lies
That whisper in my ear.

Go searching till I see
There’s nothing happening
That I can’t deal with being me.
Carrie Farrar is a trainer and author initially from Orange County, California. She has a bachelor’s diploma in youngster improvement from California State College, Lengthy Seaside. After beginning out as a preschool trainer, she stopped working for about two years following her Autism prognosis. Writing poetry has helped her work by bouts of rumination and doubt. She has written prolifically since she was a younger youngster and is at present engaged on her first e book of poetry. In 2024, Carrie joined the poetry group Lyrical Flames, the place she reads her poetry throughout Los Angeles. Since she is a brand new poet, she has but to be revealed. She at present resides in Woodland Hills, and teaches music at St. John’s Preschool in El Segundo, California.
